Lahoma Field Day
Lahoma Field Day Scheduled The Lahoma Field Day is scheduled for May 16th at 9:00 am. This is the most comprehensive program for wheat production available in the state. There are many stops with outstanding speakers. Producers can choose from hearing Dr. Brett Carver about new varieties coming from the OSU wheat Breeding program or seeing the results from long-term soil fertility studies and many more. Lunch will be provided.

OWC Elections
Oklahoma Wheat Commission Election The Oklahoma Wheat Commission will hold an election for the District 3 Board position on May 21 at the Kingfisher Fairgrounds. The counties in this district are Roger Mills, Beckham, Dewey, Custer, Washita, Blaine, Canadian, and Kingfisher. Each Grower who has paid a fee and left it with the Commission during the current marketing year ( June1-May 31) shall be eligible to vote in the election for his respective district (“respective district” means the district in which an eligible wheat producer resides) It shall be the responsibility of the grower to prove his eligibility to vote by producing documentation through a dated grain elevator receipt which includes the wheat producer’s name and amount of wheat sold and a valid driver’s license.
